Mrs. William Kelley Barkoskie Blake Ashley Daniels of Columbia and William Kelley Barkoskie of Dallas, Texas, were married April 23, 2005, at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church. Rev. William Donald Britt performed the 6 pm double– ring ceremony. Music was provided by Columbia Strings under the direction of Amos Goldie.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bruce Daniels. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Talley Avery Easler Sr. She graduated from Dutch Fork High School and the College of Charleston with a BA in corporate communications. She is the former director of public relations for LRADAC, the Behavioral Health Center of the Midlands.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Aaron Barkoskie of Jacksonville, Florida. His grandparents are Mary Day Kelley of Jacksonville, William Ellis Kelley Jr. of Jacksonville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvez Leo Barkoskie. The bridegroom graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a BS in chemical engineering. He received an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He is employed as a global six sigma black belt by Celanese Chemicals.

The bride wore an elegant ivory satin gown. The fitted bodice featured a strapless neckline. It was adorned with appliques of pearls, bugle beads, sequins, and alençon lace. A ball gown skirt continued into a cathedral train which was embellished with pearls, bugle beads, sequins, and alençon lace throughout. The bride’s headpiece was custom designed by Brideshead and featured candlelite pearls and Swarouski crystal and attached to a chapel–length veil.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Jennifer Claps Suber. The bridesmaids were Erin Lynne Barkoskie, sister of the bridegroom; Stacey Jean Jewitt; Cammie Elizabeth McKittrick, cousin of the bride; Cynthia Cronin Nickerson; and Alisha Bain Parks. The honorary bridesmaid was Melissa Eidson Arena. The junior bridesmaid was Shelby Anne Barkoskie, niece of the bridegroom.

Frankie Shane Fowler served as best man. The groomsmen were Richard Scott Barkoskie, brother of the bridegroom; John Christopher Borman; Clayton Kyle Daniels, brother of the bride; Alex George Kantsios; and Brian Casey O’Neil.

A reception was held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. After a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple will reside in Southlake, Texas.
