Miss Earhardt and Mr. McKinney marry in San Antonio, Texas
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewie Wayne Earhardt, is the granddaughter of Alice “Tinka” Earhardt, the late Lewie Griffith Earhardt, and the late Ann and George Wesley Giles of Greenville. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA in mass communications and is the morning and noon anchor for KENS 5 TV in San Antonio.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne McKinney of Landrum, is the grandson of the late Mr. Ralph and Willie Bess Odom of Greer and the late Mr. James and Ruth McKinney of Greer. He earned a BS in applied professional sciences at the University of South Carolina, is part owner of Medi-Sleeve LLC, and is employed by Bank of America in San Antonio.
The maid of Honor was Elise Giles Earhardt, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Lauren Marie Anderson, cousin of the bridegroom; Kathryn Suzanne Bell; Mrs. Ashley Hurt Callen; Mrs. Jennifer Earnhardt Clark; Megan Ducate; Chappell Eranda Everett; Courtney Erin Goddard; Mrs. Danielle Teal Kelly; Lisa Marie Sigell; Lucinda Nan Stallings; and Katherine Ruth Zimmerman.
The bridegroom’s father served as best man. The groomsmen were David Brian Anderson, cousin of the bridegroom; Benjamin Pierce Cauthen; William Derrill Darby; Trenton Graham Earhardt, brother of the bride; James Wesley Ellison; James Phillip Helton III; Ryan Edward Herbster; Richard Gavin Huckabee; Walter McGhee Burch; John Edward Urbon; and Goode Bryan Walton IV. Ushers were Kyle Clinton Anderson, Lehman Rowell Moody Jr. and Billy Ray Shuman.
A reception followed at the Governor’s Mansion.
After a honeymoon to the islands of Turks and Caicos, the couple will reside in San Antonio.
