The town of Eastover will host the 27th Annual Parade and Barbeque Festival May 4–7, 2005. The weekend of family oriented activities are guaranteed to be fun–filled for both the young and young at heart.

The weekend of events includes the Little Miss/Mister Eastover Pageant. The pageant will be held on May 6th at the Eastover Park. Participants between the ages of six–18 will be judged on talent, congeniality and fundraising.

The Annual Parade will begin at noon on Saturday May 7 starting at Webber school and going through the downtown area. Grand Marshals are County Council Representative Bernice G. Scott and news reporter and radio personality Curtis Wilson.

After the parade, numerous events and activities will be on–going.
