Rosewood Market & Deli will host a tasting fair of local and regional foods on Saturday, April 23, 2005. The event will be held in the parking lot of the market from 11 am–3 pm.

Visitors will have the opportunity to sample foods of several food producers located in the greater Columbia area as well as from elsewhere in the state.

Vendors planning to attend are Caw Caw Creek Pastured Pork, Eubanks Farms grad fed beef, Happy Cow Creamery, Carolina Plantation rice and grits, Wil–Moore Farms eggs, Palmetto Pepper Potions, San Antone Chili, Moon Beans Coffee, Funchess Place Fudge, Erin’s Urban Herbs, Sweet Eddies edameme beans, and Robin’s Gourmet Veggies.

Entertainment will include the acoustic old timey music of Vollie McKenzie and friends and adoptable pets from FIDO pet adoption.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. During the event, the market’s parking lot will be closed to traffic and parking will be provided next door courtesy of the Rosewood Baptist Church.

Foods grown and produced closer to home are superior in freshness and taste and open a window on our regional cuisine. This is part of Rosewood Market’s mission of providing foods of quality to benefit health and enjoyment.
