Miss Dallas and Mr. Barhydt exchange vows April 2, 2005
Mrs. Perry Leslie Barhydt III
Sharny Evelyn Dallas and Perry Leslie Barhydt III were married at Main Street United Methodist Church April 2, 2005 at 7 pm. The Reverend Joe Cal Watson performed the double—ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde (Rusty) Dallas. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. James. Her paternal grandparents are Mrs. Florence Dallas and the late Russell W. Dallas. The bride graduated from A.C. Flora High School and received a bachelor of arts in early childhood from Winthrop University. She is employed at Burton–Pack Elementary School.
The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Dianne K. Holloman. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Louise Peele and J.B. Holloman Jr. His great grandparents are Mrs. Ellen Holloman and the late J.B. Holloman Sr. The bridegroom graduated from First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach, VA. He earned a bachelor of science in environmental health and chemistry from Old Dominion University. He is employed by SC Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory chiffon strapless gown embellished with crystal and pearls on the bodice which fell into a flowing A–line skirt. A chapel–length train accented the back of the gown.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Robin Drucker Lourie. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Holly Preston Boling, Mrs. Jennifer Pregnall Jernigan, and Denise Fellers. The flower girl was Marie Cecil.
The best man was Mr. David Barhydt. Groomsmen were Ransome Dallas, Chuck Clayton, and Lt. William Barnett. The ringbearer was Master Garrett Boling.
A reception following the wedding was held at Seawells Banquet Center. After a honeymoon in Bradington Beach, FL, the couple will live in Columbia, SC.
