A.C. Flora girls (17–9)

In a 52–42 Class AAA playoff win over Berea, the Lady Falcons were led by Laura Lane–Steele (14), Tiara Knotts (1), and CeCe Canty (10).

Dreher girls

Keturah Jackson (21), Audrey Castor (14), Tiffany Sumpter (12), and Ashley Morris (12) led the Blue Devils to a first round Class AAA 68–58 win at Myrtle Beach.

Lower Richland boys (24–2)

After defeating James Island 60–48 to open the Class AAAA playoffs with the help of Mike Jones (32) and 12 rebounds and two blocked shots and Jeremiah Richards (11), the Diamond Hornets defeated Battery Creek 48–46 Saturday topped by Richardson (19) and Jones (11). L.R. moved into the quarterfinals against Beaufort.

Cardinal Newman boys (19–5)

JP Nerbun (12) and John Wilson (12) were the top scorers in the 56–49 loss to Heathwood Hall on Tuesday, February 15. In the first round of the SCISA Region II AAA tournament, the Cardinals defeated Hammond 58–50 behind Nerbun (21) and Brent Zokan (17).

Cardinal Newman girls (20–3)

Emily Teegarden (16) sparked CN to a 46–18 win over Ben Lippen School this past Friday. They moved on to play Hammond this past Tuesday.

Hammond School boys (12–12)

Frank Martin (30) and Daniel Bailey (19) led the Skyhawks when they defeated August Christian 65–55. Saturday, in the SCISA Region tourney at Cardinal Newman, James English (11) and Lex Patrick (11) were the leading scorers. Martin (19) and Patrick (10) were leading scorers for Hammond in this past Monday’s 66–45 loss to Ben Lippen.

Hammond School girls (19–4)

In Region II playoffs at Cardinal Newman gym, the Lady Skyhawks defeated Augusta Christian 33–26. Ali Hymson (9) led Hammond who advanced to play Cardinal Newman.

Heathwood Hall boys (14–9)

The Highlanders topped Cardinal Newman for the second consecutive night, 56–49 behind J.D. Whalen (22). Friday, Odist Harmon (18) and Brandon Gantt (11) were the leading scorers over Ben Lippen 45–39 in tournament play.
