Perry L. Barhydt and Sharny Evelyn Dallas Rusty and Sharon Dallas announce the engagement of their daughter Sharny Evelyn Dallas to Perry L.

Barhydt.

The bride elect’s maternal grandparents are Joseph T. and Pebble F. James. Her paternal grandparents are Florence B. Dallas and the late Russell W. Dallas. The bride–elect attended A.C. Flora High School and graduated from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC, with a major in early childhood education. She is a teacher at Burton Pack Elementary School, Columbia, SC.

The bridegroom elect is Perry L. Barhydt. He is the son of Dianne K. Holloman. His maternal grandparents are Louise Peale and J.B. Holloman Jr. His great–maternal grandparents are Ellen Holloman and J.B. Holloman Sr. The bridegroom elect graduated from First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Old Dominion University with a BS in environmental health and chemistry. He is employed by SC Occupational Safety and Health Administration in Columbia, SC.

The wedding is planned for April 2, 2005, at 7 pm at the Main Street United Methodist Church.
