The Governor’s Room at the Spring Valley Club was the scene of the annual Christmas luncheon and gift exchange of the Petal Pushers Garden Club. The hostesses for the meeting, Frances Morris, Louise Grooms and Pattie Britt welcomed the members. Margaret Glenn, president, presided over a brief business meeting and read the legend of the candy cane as part of the devotional. The gift exchange, as usual, was lively, and a tiny gold and silver tree was the most sought after gift. Drucy Siokos was the lucky finalist. Food was collected for the food bank and wall clocks were given to several rooms at Tucker Center. The January meeting will be at the home of Frances Morris. Ruth Rochal will be the co-hostess. Robin from Woodley’s Nursery will give a program on making Living Wreaths.
