The teachers and staff at Crayton Middle School shared a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the families of their ESOL students. Over 70 family members and students from eight different countries participated. Students provided the entertainment as they sang This Land is Your Land and Yankee Doodle Dandee . Several students read descriptions of the first Thanksgiving.

Crayton is grateful for the Central Carolina Foundation Grant that provides many opportunities to help students with English as a second language. The grant provides textbooks, field trips, and other learning activities to help the students learn English while experiencing the American culture.
