  • The Columbia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects sponsored a local design awards ceremony last week. The top design award went to The Boudreaux Group for the interiors renovation of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Following Boudreaux’s Honor Award were three Merit Awards and three Citation Awards.
  • The designs were by Columbia firms with the exception of the Perry Courthouse, which was designed by Ralph Jackson of Shepley Bulfinch (Boston). Stevens & Wilkinson of Columbia handled the courthouse’s interior design.
