Columbia mortgage talent sells in San Francisco
“Columbia is rich in mortgage talent,” CEO Experity president Robert Telford informed the bankers gathered together at the Mortgage Bankers Association convention held in San Francisco from October 24–27. Telford and his software company established in Columbia exhibited their mortgage lending product at the annual MBA meeting. They are confident in Experity’s belief that experience and integrity make sound business connections.
“The people in Columbia are a large labor force that understands the mortgage business,” Telford added. “Their experience is vital to our industry. From a technical aspect, SC technology is directing efforts to custom software development. When we hired Fred Sheriffs, a USC and Midlands Tech graduate, he brought a strong suit of directional flexibility to our product. He’s part of the Experity team. We are a team of visionaries that train together to offer strong support and development of our mortgage lending product.”
Experity had specialized in the mortgage industry since 1991, and Telford has been president since 1998. “Our focus is on delivery, and word of mouth is still the number one advertising agent for us.”
Patty Brewer, marketing/public relations manager, discussed Experity teamwork. “We’re a good visionary team, and I would say loyalty plays an important role. We trust we can provide our clients with unique, cost effective solutions, on time and on budget. Maybe because we consider ourselves a family team is why we have had very little employee turnover in 12 years, only the addition of more innovative team players.”
