A.C. Flora (2–4)

Class AAA No. 1 ranked Fairfield–Central defeated the Falcons this past Friday 45–8. The lone ACF score was the eight–yard TD pass from quarterback Will Lewis to Moe Holler . Offensive lineman Michael Murphy (3 knockdown blocks, 83% grade) made a strong showing. Junior linebacker Omar Kinlaw continued to play well (11 tackles, 2 for loss, 83% grade).

Flora is at Lugoff–Elgin Friday.

Dreher (2–4)

The No. 4 B–C Bearcats defenders held the Blue Devils to just 96 offensive yards and won 31–7 this past Friday. The primary offensive players for Dreher were receiver Curtis Sharp (3 receptions, 40 yards) and running back Demarcus Jones (10 carries, 40 yards, 1 TD). Defensively Quinton Ramos had eight tackles and a pass interception.

Airport visits Dreher at Memorial Stadium Friday night.

Lower Richland (1–5)

White Knoll defeated the Diamond Hornets 20–14 on Friday. Tailback CJ Brown (19 rushes, 74 yards, 1 TD, 3 rec., 53 yards, 1 TD) led the offense. Quarterback Travis Malloy’s passing (12–for–25, 120 yards, one TD) helped. Leading defenders were linebacker Nicholas Stiffler (13 tackles) and Danny Daniels (10 tackles).

LR plays Richland Northeast at Harry Parone Stadium Friday.

Cardinal Newman (4–2)

Heathwood Hall topped the Cardinals 43-3. CN’s prime players were tailback Mike Culbertson (8 rushes, 100 yards) and Steven DeAngelis (3 catches 43 yards). Top Cardinals defenders were DeAngelis (11 tackles) and Crawford Melton (10 tackles).

Cardinal Newman hosts Augusta Christian Friday.

Heathwood Hall. (6–0)

SCISA’s No.1 team won impressively over Cardinal Newman. The Highlanders’ most outstanding player was linebacker Crawford Prezioso (10 tackles, two for loss, one pass int. returned 25–yards for a TD, forced a fumble, deflected a pass, and 1 quarterback hurry). Offensively, Darian Benton (five rec., 100 yards, three rushes, 67 yards) was joined by Tyler Whalen (3 TD). Guard Lance Lipscomb graded 86%.

Friday Heathwood hosts defending AAA champion Wilson Hall.

Hammond School (6–0)

Hammond out gained R.E. Lee 438 yards to 201 and won 41–21. Leading gainers were tailbacks Nick Theodore (179 yards, 3 TDs), Bruce Greenberg 32 yards, one TD), quarterback Frank Martin (8–for–12 passing, 111 yards, two int. one TD to Matt Andrews . Andrews caught 6 passes for 90 yards. Top defenders were Brandon Knox (14 tackles, 1 sack), Eddie Fishman (7 tackles, two sacks) and Pete Billas (three tackles, three pass breakups and an interception).

Hammond plays at Ben Lippen Friday.
