Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Griffin Carolyn Kay Preheim and Jesse C. Griffin were married at 1 pm at Mountain View Home, Roanoke, Virginia April 17, 2004. The clergyman was Paul Henrickson. The bride is the daughter of Jeff Preheim and Leon and Sandra Slick. Her maternal grandparents are Evelyn and Chuck Hart. Her paternal grandparents are Fred and Helmi Preheim. She graduated from Terranova High School in Pacific, Califor-nia, and received a B.S. in occupational therapy at the Dominican University, San Rafael, California.

The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Jeanne Griffin. His maternal gran-dmother is Doris Murray. His paternal grandparents are John and Salena Griffin. He graduated from Lexington High School and received a B.S. in biology at Warren Wilson College. He is employed at Roanoke College.

The couple will reside in Roanoke, Virginia.
