Carolyn Kennedy Trebuchon
      Carolyn Kennedy Trebuchon, 76, of 438 Mud Run Road, died at her home Monday, February 1, 2010. Mrs. Trebuchon was born in Hemp, N.C., the daughter of the late Norman and Lillie Poe Kennedy. She was the former manager of Winfields Department Store and Crestview Apartments in Easley and was a member of Dacusville United Methodist Church.

      United Way of the Midlands recognized the companies and individuals who contributed to the 2009–10 campaign at an event held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Tuesday, January 26, 2010. United Way announced that the Campaign has reached 94% of the $10.2 million goal this year.

Marie Virginia Ulmer Wolfe
      Marie Virginia Ulmer Wolfe died January 27, 2010, at the age of 89. Born January 10, 1921, in Columbia, her life was filled with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Oliver Jordan Wolfe, her parents, Jack Melton and Bessie Brawley Ulmer, and her sister, Judy Ulmer Nettles.
